The Baleen filter will reasonably comply with
the following technical attributes:
Will operate without chemical assistance
Will remove 100% of suspended solids from the influent stream
with a particle size greater than the screen aperture, excluding
aggregate filtrate constituents
Will remove BOD from the influent stream that
is directly associated with screened matter
Will capture suspended solids from industrial
and municipal WW streams in a spade-able or 'naturally' de-watered consistency
Will enable continuous operation at peak constant
Flowrate over a 24-hour period
Will enable intermittent operation at peak
constant Flowrate over a 24-hour period
Peak utility requirements for the filter are:
mains and/or recycled water to less than 5% (depending on
feed flow rate), compressed air 6 cfm @ 6 bar, power to 4.0
kWhr per unit.
